During these times of economic down turns, we are all looking at ways to cut back our spending. And sometimes we clinch the purse strings out of fear. In fact we all have done so. I know that I've personally slowed my spending to save a few bucks. Through the process of changing our expenditure habits, its also very easy to retreat and go into seclusion from friends and family. We all know the feeling. Exercise is important to counteracting depression and lifting your spirits. although, it's not at the top of everyone's list. Health club memberships are sometimes one of the things we drop during budget restructuring. :) But, getting out of the house and shaking your butt can attack both of these, as long as you drink responsibly.During the depression in the 30's, people still needed to have an expression of dance to let go of their economic stress. Now is a good time to try this expression. Either in the night clubs or at your local drum circle on the beach on Sunday nights, get out and move that body. It's physical, it's refreshing, it's mental therapy, and it doesn't require a lot of alcohol to let go and just try and have fun. Which means you'll save some money as well. Another tip in saving money. Try car pooling with some friends, trading designated driving duties so one person doesn't get stuck doing all the driving every weekend. Have everyone pitch in for gas. We aren't in the condition of the Depression, but, we don't have to allow the economy to keep us down. Keep your spirits up. :)
